What should I expect from my first session?

Your first session begins with a brief intake to understand your goals, pain history, and movement patterns. From there, we’ll move into guided exercises or hands-on therapy tailored to your needs.

Do I need to be in pain to book a session?

Not at all. Many clients come in to improve posture, build strength, or prevent future issues. This work is just as effective for optimizing performance and mobility as it is for pain relief.

What is Foundation Training™?

Foundation Training™ is a movement method designed to decompress the spine, strengthen the posterior chain, and restore natural movement patterns. It’s especially helpful for chronic pain, poor posture, and desk-bound bodies — common challenges for many Austinites balancing active lifestyles with long hours at a desk or on the go.

How is this different from physical therapy or chiropractic care?

While there’s some overlap, NewLeaf offers a more integrated and movement-based approach — combining postural correction, functional strength, body awareness, and lifestyle coaching for long-term results. All sessions are personalized and take place here in Austin, TX.

Do you offer packages or memberships?

Yes — multi-session packages are available at a discounted rate. These are ideal for clients who want ongoing support and sustainable progress. Ask during your discovery call for options available in the Austin area or online.

What should I wear to a session?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in (think yoga or workout gear). Most sessions involve a mix of movement, stretching, and hands-on work, so flexibility is key.

Are virtual sessions available if I’m not in Austin?

Yes. Foundation Training™ and lifestyle coaching can be done virtually. Strength training sessions may also be offered online, depending on your space and equipment.

Is massage therapy included in every session?

Massage therapy is available as a standalone service or as part of a personalized wellness plan. We’ll collaborate on what’s best for your body and your goals — whether you’re here in Austin or working together remotely.
